Chemical Peel

Chemical peel is a great way of improving the appearance of the skin to become visibly younger, tighter and more toned and the symptoms of ageing are effectively reduced.  The main benefits of the treatment are improved skin texture, an even skin tone, reduced lines and wrinkles, and it may also help clear up acne.

We offer BioRePeelCl3, a revolutionary treatment formulated with a powerful blend of active ingredients that work synergistically to exfoliate the skin and stimulate collagen production, resulting in smoother, healthier, and more youthful-looking skin. This peel is suitable for all skin types and contains 35% TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid) as well as GABA, a muscle relaxant that helps to reduce lines and wrinkles. BioRePeelCl3 is a deep TCA peel that penetrates the top five layers of the epidermis, reaching the uppermost layers of the dermis. It has minimal downtime, allowing you to return to your daily routine immediately after treatment.

Chemical peels are commonly used with Microneedling and the treatments can be combined in one session. We also recommend 3-4 sessions spaced one month apart and a maintenance session every 4-6 months thereafter for best results.

Microneedling

Microneedling, or skin needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure designed to improve the appearance of the skin by stimulating collagen and elastin production. It involves the use of a device equipped with tiny, sterile needles that create controlled micro-injuries in the skin's surface. These micro-injuries trigger the body's natural healing response, which promotes the production of new collagen and elastin.

Microneedling enhances the skin's natural repair process which leads to diminishing signs of ageing, smooths uneven skin texture, removes roughness and evens out the skin tone for a more radiant appearance.

Microneedling can be used to treat the following concerns:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Stretch marks
  • Loose, sagging skin
  • Cellulite
  • Acne scars
  • Scars from injury or surgery
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Appearance of large pores

How does the treatment work?

The treatment begins with your aesthetics professional applying a numbing cream to the targeted area to ensure comfort throughout the procedure. A handheld device with fine needles is used to create microscopic punctures in the skin. The depth of the needles can be adjusted based on the treatment goals and area being treated.

The entire procedure typically takes around 30 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. For optimal results, we recommend a series of 4-6 treatments spaced one month apart and thereafter a maintenance session every 6-12 months. You'll notice improvements after a few weeks, with continued enhancement over the next year as your body naturally produces more collagen and elastin.

Anyone who wants to improve the skin quality in the face, get rid of small pigmentations, reduce lines and wrinkles, or just want to achieve that glow!

No, return to daily activities directly after the treatment is possible, but direct sun exposure should be avoided for two weeks following the treatment.

Results typically last 2-4 months, but after a series of treatments the results can last up to 6 months.

Chemical peels are not associated with pain, but the patient may feel some stinging in the skin.

After your Microneedling session, your skin may appear bright and red. For this reason, it’s best to avoid scheduling any significant events immediately after your appointment. Downtime varies from person to person, but typically you can expect mild redness and swelling for about 2-3 days.

During the first 24 hours, we recommend the following after-care instructions:

  • Keep the serum on overnight: For best results, try to leave the serum on until the next morning. The following day, wash your face with a gentle cleanser using your fingers only—avoid scrubbing. Cleanse the treated areas twice a day.
  • Use cold compresses for comfort: Applying cold compresses can help alleviate any discomfort.
  • Address itchiness with antihistamines: If you experience itchiness, antihistamines may help.
  • Avoid heat: Stay away from saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers until redness subsides.
  • Protect your skin from the sun: For at least 2 weeks post-treatment, avoid sun exposure and apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 before going outside.
  • Resume regular skincare after 7 days: You can return to your usual skincare products one week after treatment.
  • Avoid certain treatments for two weeks: Refrain from waxing, facials, Botox, or other skincare procedures for two weeks.
  • Stay hydrated: Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water daily to support new cell regeneration.
