  Dear Client,

We are currently closed during the holidays and will be back on January 13th.

We have put together a list of questions that we most commonly receive.

In your confirmation email, there is a link that allows you to change the time of your appointment.

You will not be able to change the treatment booked. Please reach out via WhatsApp, email or Instagram, and we will organise this manually once we are back.

The price list can be found here: https://goodgenetics.co.uk/price-list

We have two practitioners in the clinic, Natalie (Senior) and Sibel (Junior). You can read more about their profiles here.

Yes, on the Instagram profile, it will say in the description if Sibel performed the treatment. If there is no mention, it would be performed by Natalie.

Please visit our booking system.

All availability is shown in the booking system and we don’t have any additional slots.

All appointments include a consultation before the treatment starts, so unless you feel unsure about whether to go ahead or not, you can book the treatment straight away. Please be aware that if you select a stand-alone consultation, we will not be able to treat you on the same day and you would need to return another time for the treatment.

Yes, and there is no time limit to when it can be used.

We only treat with Hyaluronic Acid–based fillers. The brands we stock include Stylage and Revolax for lips, Revolax for facial areas, and Teoxane for tear troughs.

You can book either. The appointment starts with a consultation during which you can discuss what you would like to achieve with the practitioner. Depending on the starting point, you can decide together whether 0.5ml or 1ml would be most suitable, and we can update the volume on the day.

Yes, you can, but the session would still be charged as either 0.5ml or 1ml as per the price list.

 Yes.

In general, most areas require 1ml, except for the jawline and cheeks, which can require 1–2ml depending on how visible a result you would like to achieve and what the starting point is.

The booking does not have to be exactly correct, as long as we know roughly how many areas you would like to treat. For example, lips, chin and cheeks can be booked as a 3ml package. If we end up doing 4ml on the day, there will still be enough time. Should we end up doing 2ml, we do not charge extra if the booking was made for a bigger package.

Yes, swelling and bruising after the treatment are expected. For the first 3–4 days, it will be more noticeable and then subside. After two weeks, the lips will be fully healed.

Swelling and bruising can remain for up to two weeks. It is typically most visible during the first 3–5 days and will then gradually subside.

Please do not massage the treated area for two weeks following the treatment. Allow the filler to settle first. If you feel tenderness in the area, you can start to massage once the full healing process has taken place.

When full healing has taken place, after two weeks, we can assess the results and, if any asymmetries remain, we will book you in for a follow-up.

If you are a new client, we have an option specifically designed for you in the booking system. Select the “New Client” option and we can decide the number of areas on the day.

If you are a returning client, the areas are calculated as follows:

1 area: frown lines, forehead lines, crow's feet, dimpled chin, downturned mouth, bunny lines, smoker's lines, lip flip, gummy smile, nose tip lift, nostril flaring, jelly roll.
3 areas: masseter, brow lift, platysma band (neck), and jawline.
7 areas: trapezius muscles.
8 areas: hyperhidrosis (armpit sweating).

This would be 2 areas, since the forehead also requires treating the frown lines (11s). If you also want to do either a brow lift or crow’s feet, it would be 3 areas.

We require a minimum waiting time of 4 weeks, but we recommend waiting 6 weeks. Most of the filler goes away after 1 week, and the hyaluronidase remains active for up to two weeks. We also want to give the area time to heal properly to minimise the risk of migration happening again. If we insert new product too soon, there is a higher risk of the filler ending up in the same place as before, leading to migration again. Another reason is that the result will not be as long-lasting, as there might still be some active ingredient from the dissolver left which can affect the new filler.

It depends. If your current lips are not overfilled, lumpy, or the filler has migrated we can go ahead without dissolving first.

Please send pictures of your lips to WhatsApp on +44 7503 793750 or Instagram DM and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

The deposit will be refunded to the same payment card you used when making the booking and typically shows up within 3-5 days.
